Product Description
This tie bar is based on the structure of B-DNA, the most common form of this important molecule. B-DNA is a left-handed helix with 10 to 10.5 base pairs per full turn. The double helix structure possesses a major groove and a minor groove, i.e. the helix is not symmetrical. In B-DNA the major groove is significantly wider than the minor groove. In general, DNA-binding proteins associate with the major groove.

This tie bar is 4.2 cm (1.7 inches long) and will fit securely to both layers of your tie plus the shirt placket.
