The Mach 4 is a model requested by my flying buddies who wanted a simple, light, fun wing that could be used for both combat and electric flying. The Mach 4 in powered mode uses a Turnigy 1811 2000kv motor, micro receiver with 2 micro servos, a 5x4.3 prop, and a 350mah 2S Flightmax battery. Motor attaches super simple - just insert & twist lock into place.
Comes with 3 removable wheeled landing gear struts for launching and landing from the ground. Battery cover removes for installing electronics & battery. Use small piano steel wire or bent paper clips to connect servos to elevons. Empty weight 60g, flying weight 110g, with recommended power pack 100g thrust, 8-10m flying time. This is a blistering fast model - speeds over 150mph at full throttle. I recommend the AR6335 rcvr with gyro controls & at least 3A brushless speed control with BEC - make sure you set all 3 gyros. For advanced pilots. If this were scaled to a full size aircraft, the speed would be over 3000mph - Mach 4.
