40mm Acoustic Pressure EQ (spherical acoustic baffle) for use with omnidirectional microphones. New and improved design! This attachment subtly changes the frequency response of on-axis signals. Many engineers like the way this attachment boosts high frequency presence in choral and orchestral recordings. The 40mm sphere is most commonly associated with the Neumann M50 microphone design and the Decca Tree.
New and improved design holds microphones firmly but will not get stuck! Also, new for version 6: more precise sphere geometry and elimination of rear vents.
This model is compatable with 22mm diameter microphones, including the Neumann KM183 and K100.
