DRAW Festivus - pole stand with Festivus ring

Nothing completes a Festivus dinner like a 3D printed Festivus centerpiece*, due to its tremendous cost to weight ratio.  This Festivus pole stand, when combined with the included HAPPY FESTIVUS decorative ring, makes an exceptionally beautiful if not utilitarian table centerpiece.

 

The four inch diameter pole stand is designed to hold a scaled down version of the traditional Festivus pole having a diameter of 1/2 inch.  This is a common size of rods, dowels, and poles available in hardware and home improvement stores.  Or you can fabricate your own!  The pole is held in place by a pinch mechanism enabled by the springy qualities of the 3D printed strong and flexible material.  While the traditional material of a Festivus pole is aluminum, due to its high strength to weight ratio, the selection of material and dimensions may vary with location and specific family traditions.  There is no right and wrong during Festivus, just an airing of grievances and their resolution.

 

The HAPPY FESTIVUS decorative ring fits into slots on the top of the pole stand legs.  It's a Festivus Miracle!  The decorative rings sends a message to anyone within visual range to have a HAPPY FESTIVUS, and to alert them that other Festivus traditional activities are imminent and must be enjoyed.
