Handfuge - Hand-powered Centrifuge

Centrifuge samples at 30,000 RPM using the power of your hands. Just attach a piece of string through the holes, put in some 1.5mL tubes, and begin.

For best spinning results, the handfuge should be vertical and in the centre of the string (see video). Turn the handfuge a few times until it starts to spin backwards, then pull and relax the handles to spin the tubes.

WARNING: This thing spins very fast, and standard plastic tubes can shatter after contact at high speed. keep away from hard objects, faces, and other things that can be easily cut by fast-moving plastic.
