18-Foot Bumperpull Equipment Trailer - Parked

This is an N-scale (1:160) model of an 18-foot Equipment Trailer. It is modelled to represent a trailer in the “parked” configuration, with the jack leg extended and the ramps stored.

 

This model is based on several similar prototypes, using prototype measurements. It features a low-height, solid deck and beavertail with slide-in rear ramps that store in the frame and sit in place when loading something on the trailer. This model is a scale 18-feet long, with a 14-foot deck and 4-foot beavertail, sitting on 7,000lb Torflex axles. This model also features a mounted spare tire.

 

Designers Note: This is a finely detailed, miniature scale model. It is small, delicate and fragile. It is my recommendation that this model not be treated as a toy.
