4 pairs of Fox pressed steel truck frames. The most commonly encountered version from the late 1890s on, modeled from drawings in the 1909 Carbuilders Dictionary and prototype photos. Inside brakes, lift-lid journals, 66" wheelbase.
This version mounts with a screw similar to Athearn/MDC/Roundhouse.
Requires 33" wheelsets with axles .975" (25mm) to 1" (26mm) long.
Wicking in some thin CA glue will strengthen parts.
Because of their fine detail, Smoothest or Smooth Fine Detail is the prefered material, others will show varying degrees of surface roughness.
Clean with alcohol before painting, or with Bestine rubber cement remover if parts are particularly greasy. Acrylics recommended. Part Number HOT98s
