This piece fits the robot cleaner "Hom Bot" from LG. It will permanently press the switch, which detectes if a mop is installed. This piece is useful, if you DON'T want to install a mop, but want the robot to be more careful. With this piece attached, it will avoid carpets and small steps, which it would try to climb otherwise.
I needed this, because I have a long-hair carpet, which it tried to clean, but got stuck every time. Now it automatically retreats from any carpets, which is the desired behavior for my apartement.
Attention: Not every HomBot model comes with a working mop switch. Check that yours is working with the following steps:
