These 3-axle trucks were manufactured by Buckeye Steel Castings, and appear under various heavy-duty railcars such as DODX military flatcars and high-capacity 'rail whale' tank cars. This model features detailed brake beams and two styles of center sideframe sections to accurately model variations in the prototype. The center axle floats in an oversize journal to allow for better performance over uneven track. The model is designed to use Tangent semi-scale axles with spinning bearing cap details.
