The Zikada Ring, the first product by SPAN (Matias del Campo, Sandra Manninger) avalaible exclusively on Shapeways. Oscillating between abstract figure and entomological reference, the computationally generated model makes use of the translucent nature of the synthetic material, in a subtle play of varying layers stretched over the back of the hand. The ring as a protective gesture.
