Product Description
Hop lever for the VFC UMP GBB.

This is designed such that you can use soft rubber nubs instead of the stock hard plastic lever.

The lever is designed for a Maple Leaf Omega nub or a Begadi Nub (D=3 x 5mm).

I would recommend the Begadi Nubs for people in Europe because they are better but a Maple Leaf Omega nub will work equally.

With this lever and a concave nub, you will distribute pressure more evenly and over a larger surface which benefits the hopup effect.

The adjustment range is between no hop and overhopping 0.4gr. So plenty of adjustment room to use any bb weight you want.
I have tested these levers with the stock barrel and stock bucking. With everyting fitted properly, it shoots dead straight.

The lever comes in two sizes. S and L. This is marked on the levers. The reason for two sizes is because of 3D printing tolerances and depending on what nub you are going to use. The L version will work better with a maple leaf nub because its shorter. The S version will work better with a Begadi nub because it is slightly longer. But it's not mandatory to set it up this way. You can experiment for yourself with different nubs of course.

The reason you are getting 2xS and 2xL levers in one print is because of printing tolerances, maybe a printing defect, you mess up post processing, you might have 2 UPS's etc...

Postprocessing by yourself is required!

The width of the lever might need sanding, equally on both sides, to reduce its width to 5 or 4.9mm. It needs to fit exact in between the hopup chamber halves. I would recommend using 240 grid sandpaper and take your time.

The hole, rotating point of the hop lever, might also be too small. Drill this out so that is fits around the pin of the hopup chamber without too much play. Aim for max 0.1mm larger than the pin. On mine this is was 2.6 to 2.7mm.

After postprocessing and closing the hopup chamber with the screws, the lever needs to rotate freely without resistance.
If there is any powder residue left in the concave area where the nub goes, remove this with a sharp object.
It might help to apply a dot of grease to the inside of the concave area to hold the nub for installation.
