Russian 64N6E Big Bird Radar 1/285 6mm

The 64N6E Big Bird is a Phased Array Aquisition Radar used for Aerial Targets and Balistic Missile. The overall performance of this mobile system is equal or better than the US-Navy Aegis Radar. In this configuration it has no equivalent in the West. It is an important part of the sucess of the S-300 SAM Systems (SA-10 Grumble / SA-20 Gargoyle). The MAZ 74106 Semi Tractor is a part of the famous MAZ 543 family of heavy 8 x 8 trucks. It has a shortened wheelbase between 3 + 4 axle and an APU Unit for the Bif Bird Radar. The Model could be assembled traveling or deployed.

Der Radstand zwischen der 3 und 4 Achse wurde verkürzt und eine externe Kraftstation für das Big Bird Radar montiert. Das Modell kann im Transportmodus oder im Einsatz zusammen gebaut werden.
