Lockheed XFV-1 Salmon 1/500

Design of this VTOL fighter began in the late 'forties as a way to protect convoys without aircraft carriers. The concept was abandoned by the US Navy when it was found that only the most experienced test pilots could fly the plane. Fly it against Convair's FY.

This model is a re-scale from our 1/285 XFV-1, some parts have been altered to better fit the new scale.
