Scale welder, designed to house a small digital voltmeter screen that you can then hook up to the battery power in your RC car to dsiplay voltage.For the voltmeter I used one of the easily available 0-30v digital voltmeters that are readily available on ebay / amazon etc...
The one I used was listed with the following dimensions (I cut the mounting ears off the side of the voltmeter and glued it in place with shoe goo)
Dimensions: 35mm x 14mm x 10mm (photo attached of the kind of thing I used)

If you want to get fancy you can make a tinted screen for the voltmeter display. Use something like a tinted lighting gel perhaps? I cut down to size a plastic ND Camera Filter
