Product Description
A set of 40 tiny Dean-Churchward style wagon brake handles for N-gauge / 2mmFS. The disc for each one is a little over 1 mm across and the crank is about 3 mm. The spigot is 0.6mm diameter and a couple of mm long. Drill a hole somewhere to plant it, shortening it if necessary, or glue it across the edge of something like an axleguard, or the underside of a solebar, or create a tiny V-hanger of some sort. This is something of a super-detailing part in this scale but I think it's nice to have something to pick out in an off-white paint just so it doesn't just look like you've lost the brake lever in the wash. This is designed in openSCAD so it should be easy enough to amend the wire thicknesses to improve the proportions (and reduce the headcount) if anyone fancies it scaled up for e.g. 4mm:1ft, or has a particular need for specific crank lengths or disc sizes.
2021-05-16 I’ve tried this model and I’m happy with the result, so making
it available for sale, but please bear in mind that in 2mm:1ft they are absolutely tiny, and inevitably fiddly to separate and stick on to wagons.
