Stone Crab and Spiny Lobster Gauge for Florida

It's hard to find stone crab gauges these days! Being that I could only find lobster gauges and not crab or combo gauges I took the time to design and 3D print one myself and thought I'd share it so that others facing the same challenge can easily buy an accurate gauge to measure both stone crabs and spiny lobsters.

This gauge measures stone crab claws at 2 7/8" on one side and spiny lobster carapaces at 3" on the other side as indicated by the Florida FIsh and Wildlife Commission's most recent regulations and features a 1/4" hole to attach a lanyard.

While it it works just fine in the inexpensive white natural versatile plastic, you can choose your own material and budget with options starting at just $15 in materials such as natural or processed versatile plastic, smooth fine detail plastic, or even 316 stainless steel!

Please note that while this product has been designed to provide exact, precise measurements as aligned with FWC's regulations as of December 2022, this product is neither approved nor endorsed by the FWC. That said, no gauges on the market today are FWC approved or endorsed anyway!
