This headlight insert was designed for seamless insertion into the Bachmann 44 ton locomotive. It can be used on other GE and other makes and models of switcher as well. The basis for this project was Dansville & Mount Morris no. 1, which was the last 44-tonner ever built (1956). No. 1 lives on, as she first went to the Bay Colony RR and now operates on the Charlotte Southern RR dinner train in central Michigan.
