This case top has holes in front for power, video, USB, LAN, and micro USB cables, as well as slots on the sides for ribbon cables connected to the GPIO header or camera headers. The air scoop on top provides for fresh air to be drawn in by the fan, directed downward at the circuitry, and then to exit out the case sides. The plastic construction does not impede Bluetooth and Wifi signals.
The case bottom, available as a separate part, snap fits onto the case top using four upright tabs - just press the oriented parts together. To open the case, both tabs on either side are gently flexed outward using two fingernails pulling outward at the top of the tabs while the opposite hand lifts the case top upwards.
The case bottom provides for mounting the case to the back of a 75mm x 75mm VESA monitor, or for mounting using keyslot holes spaced at 75mm, in addition to simply resting on the four foot pads.
