My ring is here shown in the painting that inspired the design. The paiting is by the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi (1864 - 1916) and is called Interior in Strandgade,
Sunlight on the Floor, 1901.
The shadow cast by the window, together with my love for the organic and feminine Art nouveau from the same periode inspired me to create a ring with 3 levels of details that would be able to cast shadows on a finger.
