Product Description
Festiniog Railway Van No. 1 or 2 in a later condition.

A model of passenger luggage van
1 or 2 built by Brown Marshall & Co. in 1873 in 4mm scale / OO-9. This version can also be used to model the replica van 1 built in 2004.

Designed to use Dundas DM60 FR Coach Bogies. It can also use PECO Bowsider Bogies by removing the Ø4mm bosses and opening out the holes to Ø3.5mm.

This version features a covered top rail for the sliding doors and bar across the end railing to mount the vacuum pipe.

Known today as a 'Curly Roof' Van, they were originally referred to as having a 'Turtle roof'.

Vacuum pipes are not included. DP07 FR Vacuum Pipes would suit this model.
