Product Description
Up to 1920 all tankcars used in wine transport were equipped with L-shaped frangible disc vents. These consisted of a frangible disc sandwiched between two plates. The disc ruptured when the pressure in the tank exceeded 25 PSI.
Starting in 1930 all tankcars were equipped with straight frangible disc vents.
