Vortex Sparc AR Lens Protector

This protector / cover will protect your Vortex Sparc AR red dot from being shot out by a bb.
The design allows you to snap fit this over the front. It can be mounted and removed with ease.

Vortex has a great warranty service but it will still cost money to get it replaced due to the shipping and possible import costs.
Protecting your reddot with this part is cheaper. Thrust me.

You will need to buy a piece of clear Polycarbonate (PC) sheet, 4mm thick, seperate at a local hardware store. 
Mark 27mm circles on the PC sheet and cut the rough shape out with a metal saw.
Use a file or dremel to make the circles to size. The lens should slide in without to much resistance.
Use a few drops of epoxy glue something else to fix the lens to the protector.
Watch out with CA type glues! This can create a white haze on the PC lens as it cures.
DO NOT! Glue the lens to the protector while the protector is on your optic! The outgassing of the glue can permanently damage the lens of your optic!

I would reccomend buying 3. That way you always have a spare before reordering.
