This is one of my "Empire Peaks" mash-ups. This is an edition of my larger sculpture, a large wood statue that I carved by hand in cedar. I had the carving 3D-scanned, then worked to make it available here on Shapeways in various materials. As an original design fabricated hand-carved wood to a 3D print, I'm incredibly excited to make this available to you. I'm limiting this edition to 100 3D-prints, updating the prints available above and I'll close the edition & de-list this item when 100 "Kingwalker" 3D-prints are made.
"Kingwalker" is a combination of two men who share the trait of chosen destiny. Both these men serve as inspirational tipping points to paradigm shifts. Each are placed at the exact right time and place to enact change and new political dynasties. Though each struggle with the real-life ramifications of their role in history, neither falls to cowardice. One is the new hope while the other is the lasting hope of an entire century's worth of work.
