Product Description
This is a pair of precious metal earrings. Each earring consists of three concentric sets of Borromean rings.
The Borromean rings are composed of three rings interlocking each other, forming a Brunnian link. No two rings are linked with each other but all three are linked such that cutting any one ring results in the two remaining rings becoming unlinked. Borromean rings are considered symbols of strength in unity.
In mathematics, Borromean rings are a prime link with the symbol 06-0302. If any of you are fans of the Inspector Lewis series, the rings are featured in the final episode of the final series.
Ear wires and jump rings are not included.
