Product Description
A cab conversion kit containing cab front, cab rear, chimney and buffers designed to fit the Hattons' Andrew Barclay 14" 0-4-0st. It may also fit the 16" but this has not been tested.

Grant Ritchie locomotives were built from 1879 to 1920 and were very similar in design to certain Andrew Barclay locomotives. They were very popular in Scottish Collieries, but several also made it to England and were fairly widely used. This model is based on works no. 272 of 1894, currently preserved on the Ribble Steam Railway - some details are slightly different due to the use of the Barclay starting point.

The builder will need to add handrails to the cab sides, and some roof supports from 0.45mm wire.
