Product Description
This is a direct replacement motor mount for the Diggity Designs DC4.
The motor mount allows the motor to be slid in from the side without completely removing the screws
Benefits include:
Motor Mount Screw holes are sized for #4-40 Tap but can be drilled and tapped for 4-40 or 3mm thread. Thread must be add by buyer as 3D printing threads at this resolution will not be reliable
To fit this motor mount on the FTTC4 chassis, the Top Deck Corner standoff on the motor side must be removed permanently.
The motor mount allows the motor to be slid in from the side without completely removing the screws
Benefits include:
- Allows the motor to slide in from the side without removing screws completely
- Angled down to allow the motor to sit lower
- Motor can slide all the way in to almost touch the center shaft allowing for smaller spur gears
- Low profile allowing top of motor mount to be flush with top deck on Diggity DC4.
- Reduced material to keep the weight down
