Product Description
In the 1970s the French had launched a program to design and build a nuclear-powered amphibious assault ship, plans was to launch the first ship in 1981, but the program ended up being cancelled as such a ship was unobtainable in such a short time.
The design heavily influenced the later Charles de Gaulle carrier, and the role of the LHA is eventually realized by the Mistral class.
