Neofinetia Orchid Pot
This pot is designed for growing a Japanese species of orchid popularly known as Neofinetia falcata, also known as Fuu Ran, meaning wind orchid. It has been grown in Japan for over 400 years. In the early years it was in the domain of the Samurai. It is now grown by anyone. The Idea for this piece came from my Saul Bell Design Award finalist earring. I have changed it a little by putting the + symbol in the center to update the look. This pot has more nylon material in it due to the nature of the design and how it is built and so it is costlier to make. It will be printed in Nylon. for some flexibility, and strength. This pot has an inner diameter of 2.5 inches. I reccomend washing the pot before use to remove any printing residue. After that you're good to go. Happy Growing!
