*NOTE* This is only the Spring Brace part of the Rear Mount Assembly.
Designed completely from scratch, this Rear Spring Brace combines with the VASTmicro Rear Main Brace also available on Shapeways here:

and a standard compression spring (11/64" x 1-35/64") found in this spring kit at Home Depot here:

to create a complete rear mount option that can be stacked onto the VASTmicro Phantom 4 left and right mounts braces. After inserting the recommended spring into the Rear Main Brace this Spring Brace will compress the spring down, lock inside, and provide the outward pressure like a shower curtain rod to hold the mount in between the legs of the Phantom 4 landing gear.
The completed mount can be used alone when secured with zip ties, but it's intended use is to complement the original left and right mounts as they provide a stop point for this brace and prevent it from slipping downward.
It was created to allow the attachment of lightweight aviation / anti-collision lights to the Phantom 4 drone. As a bonus, by utilizing the now ubiquitous attachment system made famous by GoPro the design provides an endless variation of uses. Once in place above the left and right braces this mount can be secured and hold several types of accessories including the ARC II and Strobon enclosures by VASTmicro. Though new to Shapeways this one of a kind original 3D model has been printed on multiple FDM 3D printers and used in the real world many times. It's been tested and found to work well.
