Product Description
This is an N scale Alco C-855 locomotive Shell Only. Please note this does not include the parts you need to build a coplete model sich as fuel tank, sandboxes, two cab interiors, each with an engineer, a set of horns, drive shaft extenders and a fuel tank mounting plug. The full kit is avalabkle here.
This kit is designed to be used with a Con-Cor U50/Turbine powered chassis which is not included.
The Chassis extenders are designed to be printed in Stainless Steel by Shapeways and can be found here.
The detail part such as grab irons, handrails, sun visors, walkways, ladders, windscreen wipers and Air/MU hoses are available as brass Additions and are available for this locomotive here on my website.
This kit is only printable in the FUD & FXD materials and will require cleaning before painting. I recommend washing with warm soapy water then soaking in 'Goo Gone' or similar product for about 24 hours. Then rinsing off with warm water and allowing to dry.
An instruction sheet will be available in PDF format from my website site soon.
The C-855B unit will also be avalable soon.
