Frichs type My N scale part 2

Please read before ordering:

Part 2 of 2 of N scale kit for building a Frichs type My (not to be confused with Nohab type My)
the kit is made to fit on a Minitrix regular nohab chassis.

This is the unpainted unassembled parts for making the correct skirt, correct belly tanks and modifying the bogies of the minitrix chassis to look their part. Some sanding and filing might be required for perfect fit.
Parts can break during assembly but can also be glued back together using most plastic glue. try to assemble carefully.

Originally this was designed for the rigid yet detailed Acura plastic but that for some reason cant be offered on prints that goes for sale on Shapeways but only be ordered by the designer for some reason. If you want it in Acura plastic, I can order it for you or you can download the model and print it for yourself.
I hope that Shapeways will release Acura plastics soon from the maker models and on to the sales models.

There are two types of skirts, one with a hole for the coupling handle and one without for static models.
The skirts should not be fastened with glue but only using the buffers as pins to hold them in place.
The bogie sides as well as the belly tank should also just click on.

This part does not include the body of the model, click here to get the body (part 1 of 2)
It is recomended to use these buffers when building the model, But other buffers with an ø 1mm mounting shaft that protrudes at least 3mm into the model can also be used, this is nessacary as the buffers works as the pin that keeps the skirts in place.

These parts comes without instructions on assembly and require medium skills to put together.
