Rapidograph Pen Nib Holder and Stop (for Axidraw)

The Axidraw by Evil Mad Scientist is amazing and their pen holder can accommodate a ton of great drawing tools. But felt-tip pens get worn down very quickly and most good-quality pens cannot be refilled, meaning lots of plastic that goes in the trash. Rapidograph technical pens, a longtime favorite of comic artists, are a fantastic choice for plotters: they come in a wide range of tip sizes, they can be refilled easily, and archival inks come in a wide range of colors. While you could hold the full pen, it is cheaper to buy just the tips, which is where this nib holder comes in!

This holder firmly grips a pen nib with a simple M2 bolt, letting you quickly swap sizes without worry that the pen will slip. It also features an adjustable stop, letting you dial in the height once, then take it off to change nibs and put it right back. It also includes a hole at the top, which can be threaded for an M3 bolt, allowing washers to be added as weights (generally this is not necessary but may be helpful).

Please note! This product requires additional hardware to work: at least one M2 bolt to secure the pen nib. Ideally, you should thread this hole with an M2 tap first, but you can also carefully insert the bolt and thread it that way.
