FZX front cover for Yamaha FZX - 3D model after the Yamaha part number 1UF-23122-01 pattern.
MODIFIED TO FIT MY HEADLIGHT BRACKET!
This part is modified to fit the 3D printed headlight bracket I designed! As the original headlight bracket is metal, but I can only make parts in plastic, I had to modify the geometry of the headlight bracket. The modified bracket collides with the stock geometry of the front cover, so I made another version of it.
This part is compatible with the stock headlight and my 3D printed version.
I tired my best to recreate the shape of the original part with regards and some modifications to the 3D printing process. (added wall thickness where possible)
As the original part is an injection molded part, it has demoulding angles on most of the surfaces - these were not recreated, so the surfaces, that are supposed to be 90° to each other are 90° to each other.
If you want another version with a custom text in some other font, or different decorative pattern on the front, drop me a line. I will be happy to create it for you, as long as you dont want any too fancy (or outright illegal - like a swastika) decoration.
