Product Description
This product is based off of the Freelance ICI bogie Hopper Wagon known as "Hector the Horrid" in Thomas & Friends. Allegedly "Hector" stands for "Heavily Engineered Coal Truck on Rails". The difference between v1 and v2 is that v2 has an opening bottom, allowing for realistic coal release, while v1 is sealed at the bottom. The Bachmann version of this model features the International Hook & Loop coupling system, with hooks included. The Chain version, on the other hand, does not feature the International Hook & Loop couplings, instead being intended for the more realistic 3 chain and hook coupling system. This model will require 4 sets (2 per each bogie) of either Hornby 14.1mm or HO scale 38" wheels. You will need to purchase size #4 screws with the associated Hex nut. The hex nut will fit in the hex shaped hole on the underside of the chassis and will require glue to stay in place. The screw will then go through the hole in the bogie and screw into the hex nut attached to the chassis.
