From the designer: "A 3D roulette is traced by tracking a sphere as it revolves around its X, Y and Z axis. By varying the speed of each axial rotation to either 1, 5 or 10, repective to a fixed starting point; a set of twelve unique 3D hypotrochoids emerge. The linear relationship between each rotational speed ensures a fully closed orbit. The statement necklace is created from 5 independent hypotrochoids thread and wrapped along a fine silver chain or leather cord. The wearer is given the choice and freedom to adorn as many or as few of the carefully sized parts as they like. A subtle or striking piece can therefore be individually defined."
