British Railways 9'WB chassis in 3mm:1ft

This chassis is designed to fit the 3mm:1ft scale 16t mineral wagons I have uploaded, with 0.2mm designed clearance between the backs of the headstocks. A pair of chassis looks like being £13 in smoothest fine detail plastic, and the model includes a sprue of four brake rodding sets. Part these from the cross pieces and mount them behind the V hangers on the chassis. The minerals I have uploaded in 3mm so far had bottom doors and dual-side-independent brakes, but by leaving off one of the brake rodding parts, or mounting it the reverse way round (adusting the brake lever attachment to suit) and adding a rod between the V hangers under the wagon, you can represent other brake arrangements and use the chassis on other projects.
The chassis will take the same wheels and bearings as the Parkside chassis kit, and the bearings and wheels I have uploaded in 3mm should also fit. Make sure the bearing pockets are clean before you put the bearings in.
