Product Description
To replace the original chute and finger guard for the Rancilio Rocky coffee grinder, I tried a couple approaches to a homemade replacement. This ended up as a functional and aesthetically pleasing solution. I have used White Natural Versatile Plastic, but other materials should work well.
The hopper plugs are used if you remove the finger guard from inside the bean hopper. It's held in by 3 screws, and with the finger guard removed there are gaps above the screws where beans tend to get caught. The hopper plugs fill those gaps and make it a bit easier to keep the grinder clean.
NOTE: Rancilio changed the design for the Rocky hopper at the end of 2016, and the hopper plugs WILL NOT properly fit in the new version. If your grinder's hopper includes the black plastic guard shown in the picture linked below, it will not fit.
