Product Description
A prosthetic hand with all the moving parts in a single print. No assembly required. The fingers, thumb and wrist have the bones, ligaments and cartilage associated with a real human hand. The fingers can be shifted to mimic the movements of real fingers. The intention of this model is to provide a frame for testing movements, strength, and modeling. Later, the intention is to add artificial muscles, ligaments, connectivity apparatus and even skin. This is an experimental prosthesis meant only for testing and prototyping. The final product, complete with movement and control will soon be available to customers.
Imagine a hand that weighs a few grams rather than ounces! A hand that can be tweeked, adjusted, ordered, and printed from your personal computer. A new prothesis as light feather, and one that finally looks cool! Now, help me to help you.
I am developing this new line of prosthetic parts and I need your help. If you would like to see this as a choice for your future, then do one simple thing let others know that you want it. I need funds to make this happen. One way to get me funds is to purchase one for yourself to show to others. No, you can't yet use this one, but by printing and showing these to others we can get the word out that the technology exists.
Lightweight, moveable, strong, and good-looking prosthetics are possible!
