After months of testing and tweaking, this v5 solid design can be used for racing. It shares the exact same geometry as the original UM44 XL arms but much more robust than the printed original design. The arms require a 3mm drill bit or reamer to clean the hinge pin and hub holes, and 2.6mm for the m3 screw holes. Pre-cut the thread with a m3 CAP screw for easier install. Turnbuckles to suit are original OTW11, titanium 92411 or other 30mm M3 variety. You will need 16mm M3 grub screw too. Rod ends require 6.8mm m3 pivot balls part number W0202. You will also need a tree of my 6.8mm rod ends to mount the original LA28 Lazer hub, or I have a replica in my shop. This is a single arm, you will need a pair to run.
