Enneagram, past, present, future

This is a 3D model of a diatonic enneagram (see Gurdjieff, Russell Smith, Ouspensky, and other 4th way writers), with three levels shown, past, present, and future, as developed by Russell A Smith in his book: "Gurdjieff: Cosmic Secrets".  The bottom spiral represents one of many past efforts to complete an octave, or enneagram, which informs the present enneagram (middle spiral), and will influence future enneagrams (top spiral).

The notes of the octave are represented by different solids: Do, sphere; Re, tetrahedron; Mi, cube; Fa, octahedron; So, dodecahedron; La, cuboctahedron; Ti, icosahedron. There are 11 lines of supervision within each time frame (in each shallow spiral), and 3 lines of supervision coming into the present from the past enneagram and 3 going out from the present into the future enneagram, for a total of 17 lines of supervision in each enneagram.  

The red lines represent each octave's 1-4-2-8-5-7 supervision lines. The blue lines represent these supervision lines from other outer octaves and go up the scale, from a lower note to a higher note. The green lines are those that come from other outer octaves and go down the scale from a higher note to a lower one. The black lines are there only for the physical support of the model, but they do occur at the Do, Fa, and La points, where the forces live in each enneagram. The white spirals represent the movement in time around the notes of the enneagram, clockwise.
