Product Description

This is an upgraded Ghorn Modular Frigate in 2500 scale. This is a Clan Vss'Lrs' type ship... The plan was simple. Build a fleet of modular ships which could easily be upgraded into more combat capable craft should the need arise. The added bonus was easily training capable crews in both the use and maintenance on the smaller type and getting a relatively large group of basic ships into space quickly. After the disastrous events following the last Roms incursion into Ghorn space; the Ghorn could ill afford lengthy times rebuilding not only their fleet but also training large crews to man them. The Vss'lrs modular ships with their high degree of automation and cutting edge computer systems solved these problems. Ghorn crews soon took to the space lanes and border outposts in the basic Destroyers and Escort Frigates. As these initial crews gained experience and needs were identified; ships were recalled and upgraded. Now go and rebuild your empire!
