Glyn Valley Tramway (GVT) 2T Slate Wagon
009 Scale/Gauge
The prototype of this wagon was originally built for the GVT during the its early years when it was a horse tramway (Epoch I). However, they remained in service after steam haulage had been introduced, with some lasting until the tramways closure in 1935.
This is availablr as a one piece bronze casting to allow enough weight for smooth running.
To Complete the model the following is needed:
2 x PECO ngauge spoked wheel sets
2 x PECO 009 couplings (NEM fittings)
Note both couplings and wheels are a very hard push fit.
The mode;l will also require painting.
