Ever wondered about the rudimentary leaf spring silhouettes present in the formidable steam locos from Roundhouse Eng.? Here is a solution to improve with some details. Simply glue or bolt the detailed spring on top of the existing side plate. The plate is designed to compensate for 2% shrinkage during processing. It might hence be slightly oversized when printed in plastic. To complete a loco it takes 4 pieces. A visual effect is already there when taking the both upfront.
