The harness buckle from the 1990's film, The Rocketeer, is one of the most difficult and expensive movie props in all fandom. There are only 4 known buckles in North America and fans have been searching for years trying to find anything about this buckle, only to hit dead ends. I have spent many hours to not only recreate this buckle, but also prototyped this numorous times to make sure that not only does this buckle look accurate but also is functional as well, You can view the build progress by following the link below.

http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=242299

This is the upper body of a fully functional Rocketeer harness buckle.
