"The Cube" marble run

This is a marble run that uses 5/16" stainless balls (purchase separately).  You "load" by tilting until the balls end up on the top chute.  Then just lift the lever once to release a ball.   Once the ball hits the ramp at bottom it automatically releases another until the top chute is empty.  Just tilt to refill and start over.  This is a kit and will not work out of the box, read below.

NOTE:  This requires parts "The Cube - Parts (Print 2 of 2)" to complete the kit.

ALSO WSF version: this kit needs rails where ball rolls to be hand finished.  This means using a sanding swab and/or burnishing rails with one of the 5/16" balls soldered to a rod for best results.  It also needs to be spray painted to fill in pores.  Multiple coats of gloss spray paint also works to smooth the rails.   This is needed or the balls will NOT roll out of the box.

The frosted ultra detail version needs the wax to be removed or the balls will not roll.  This means scraping off or using some kind of solvent to remove wax.  Shapeways is supposed to remove wax but on the one I got it still had residue.  Any residue will prevent balls from rolling.

Yes it is expensive but that is out of my control, the part size causes this.
