Product Description
O scale old time locomotive smokestack set 2. The parts are based on drawings in the book Recent locomotives from 1886.
The set contains:
-1 pc small diamond smokestack 38mm long (approx. scale 72")
-1 pc medium diamond smokestack 39,3mm long (approx. scale 74")
-1 pc cap stack 34,4mm long (approx. scale 65-1/2")
NOTE! This set has shorter diamond stacks than set 1
The set is best printed in Shapeways material frosted extreme detail.
Prior to painting the parts should be thoroughly cleaned in denatured alcohol and dishwashing liquid to get rid of the process wax. Use primer coat and then enamel or acrylic paint. They may need some sanding depending on how they where oriented when printed. The smokestacks fit directly to the top of the smokebox. Some sanding may be needed for a perfect fit.
