The latest generation of robot hand. This hand is suitable for simple grasping of prismatic objects due to the fixed thumb. Each digit can be powered individually or linked below the wrist for a power grip. Friction is reduced by inserting miniature ball bearings (6x10x3) and teflon tubing (order on ebay or use bicycle brake cable). Redundancy in the finger structure is eliminated by two sets of internal ligaments that can be quickly added using two loops of nylon fishing line terminated by knots or glue.
