Product Description
FZX fork top cover for Yamaha FZX - 3D model after the Yamaha part number 1UF-2319U-00 pattern.
There is a brass insert with a threat in the original part. Obviously, I can not have the part 2K printed, so I modeled the threat into the model. It should resemble the DIN 7756 VG8 threat (standard Automotive valve threat). I made it a little bit smaller, to fit the threat on the fork top better. A metric threat in plastic does indeed need every mm of material it can get. You might want to recut it. But be careful, you are still going to screw a plastic metric threat onto a brass valve. If you wind it too tight, the threat is going to strip like warm butter!
If you want to insert a brass insert yourself (a valve cap for example), drop me a line with the dimensions of your insert, I can make another version.
The valve cap should (overall) not exceed a length of 9mm!
