Sopranino saxophone mouthpiece
Design goals:
- Easy upper register
- Stable intonation
Very small mouthpiece, needs specific ligature.
Frosted Extreme Detail recommended for a good facing.
Frosted Ultra Detail works but maybe not as well.
Acrylic plastic untested, may not be sufficiently precise.
Strong and flexible not sufficiently precise, will get dirty quite fast, and tends to damage cork.
Metal versions should probably be considered as mouthpiece blanks, to be finished by a competent refacer.
