point motor two cam base 201118

A substitute for the common stallmotor, smaller, quieter and uses less power. 34 mm wide, 56 long mm and 45 mm high, with three elongated holes to allow precise adjustment of the motor's position.  Auxiliary switches are rated at 3 Amp, good for DCC layouts.

The pointmotor base for model trains is designed for an N20 gearmotor (20 rpm suggested) and 4 jaycar SM1036 microswitches. 2 M1.6 x 12 bolts and nuts and 4 M2 x 16 bolts and nuts are required. Jaycar HM 3448 connectors can be glued to base to connect to HM 3438 header.  Use with two cam 201118. Two microswitches (closer to motor) are for auxiliary contacts, two are limitswitches for motor.  Two diodes are required to stop motor at each end of travel.  Suggest a 150 Ohm resistor to slow gearmotor

Cams are available in packs of 5, as well as spacers, if you only require one or no auxiliary contacts
